Every Tuesday, our scholars begin our week with morning town halls. During town halls, we...
- pour libations to affirm our victories, recognize current happenings in our world and/or give thanks.
- ...and we say "ashay, ashay, ashay" an African word affirming a libation.
- make announcements and give words of encouragement
- Recite the poem Invictus.
END OF THE WEEK TOWNHALLS
At the end of every Friday, we gather to recognize our victories and triumphs for the week. In the end of the week townhall,
- we recognize our winning house...
- we give thanks to friends and teachers who have encouraged us.
- we make amends to those who we have wronged.
- we recognize our "King of the Day" winner.
